Despite all the pro-democracy demonstrations during the last weeks already now the tendency can be observed that more radical groups enter the main stage. That for sure will have major consequences for our friends. We have the responsibility to pray and prepare them for suffering and persecution. Tammy made the picture January 29 in Cairo.

As I read Ben's log, I can see his point of view:
He cannot teach about "suffering and persecution" in the abstract. You teach this as you go through it together.
Though Ben would not compare himself with Paul, I see the same resolve in his writing: "necessity and urgency with resolve to teach and preach commitment to God and to follow Him regardless of consequences"
