God

We believe in one true living God, Creator of all things, past, present and future. We believe He is infinitely perfect all powerful, consistent in all his ways, having existed before time, existing now and forever, We believe that God eternally exists as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; equal in essence but distinct in person and function.
(Genesis 1:1, 26; Matthew 28:18-20; John 1:1-3; James 1:17)

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is both God and man, miraculously conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sin; past, present and future. We believe He arose in his earthly body from the dead, ascended into heaven and sits now at the right hand of God where He acts as our High Priest and advocate. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Head over all things, including the Church.
(Luke 1:34-35; Romans 5:8; Galatians 3:13; Hebrews 2:9; I John 2:2; Ephesians. 1:22; and 4:15; Colossians 1:18; Matthew 28:18)

Holy Spirit

We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age to convict men, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service.
(I John 15:26; John 16:7-14; Romans 8:26-27; I Corinthians 2:12, 14; Titus 3:5)

The Bible

We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testament, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men and the divine and final authority for Christian faith and life.
(Matthew 5:18; II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:20-21)

Man And His Salvation

We believe that man was created by God in the image of God but fell into sin and became hopelessly separated from God resulting in spiritual and physical death. We believe this sin is passed on to all generations, and man’s only salvation is to place his belief, trust and hope in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We believe this is the only means of reconciliation with God through His grace and love. We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for our justification (being declared righteous) before God. We believe the person receiving Jesus Christ is born again through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and is a child of God. We believe that once a person has accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, that person is eternally secure as God’s child. (Genesis 1:26-27; John 3:3; Romans 5:12; 10:9; John 5:24; Ephesians 2:1-3; Titus 3:5; Romans 3:28; 4:23-25; 5:7-9; Hebrews 9:22; Galatians 4:6-7; John 6:37; 10:28; Philippians 1:6; I John 5:13)

Christ’s Return And Final Judgment

We believe in the personal and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ and that this hope has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the saved. We believe that the souls of the saved at death immediately pass into His presence and remain there until the body is resurrected at His coming, when soul and body will be reunited to be with Him forever. We believe that the souls of the lost remain after death in Hades until final judgment at the great white throne. The soul and body will reunite at the resurrection and shall be cast into the lake of fire, which is the second death, to be punished forever away from the presence of the Lord.
(John 14:1-3; Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Philippians 3:20-21; Daniel 12:1; Luke 16:22, 25; 23:43; II Corinthians 5:8; I Thessalonians 4:15-18; Phil. 1:20-24; I Corinthians 15:52-54;Luke 16:22-28; II Thessalonians 1:8-9; Hebrews 9:27; Rev. 20:11-15)

The Church

We believe that the true Church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the head. We believe that only those who are, thus, members of the true Church shall be eligible for membership in the local Church. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the Church and that every local Church has the right under Christ to decide and govern its own affairs. We believe that the Lord’s Supper and Water Baptism are ordinances to be observed by the Church during this present age. They are not, however, to be regarded as a means of salvation.
